Last week/this week I'm supposed to update my portfolio, unfortunately, I didn't.
Prepare for excuses on why I didn't:
1) Lack of time
2) Lack of time
3) Lack of time
Nahs. To be honest, it's not just a lack of time, I could probably get it done if I didn't sleep for 2-3 days. That is, if it wasn't for this problem, lack of skill and imagination.
Lack of skill because, my stuff isn't up to par to my classmates' and lack of imagination because I have no idea what to draw. Most of my classmates are able to compile their stuff pretty quickly because they usually have old stuff from year 1/2 that they put in. Me? All my stuff in my portfolio is spanking new. I look at things that I do 2 years ago and I cringe. Which is why, I don't have a portfolio that I want to show anyone.
Lack of imagination because whatever I draw seems uninspiring and boring after 2 hrs in and I usually scrap it for another new thing while repeating the process, which results in a lot of bad uncompleted drawings/paintings. It's a bad habit, I know.
And then there's the qn of what to do after poly. Whenever people asks me, what my goal is, I'm just like:
